Alexa-Maria Rathbone Barker is Managing Director of CoStar and LoopNet in Europe, where she holds overall responsibility for CoStar Group's European commercial operations. She oversees the UK business and leads CoStar's European expansion in support of the company's mission to digitize the world's real estate. 

For over two decades, Alexa has worked at the intersection of complex data, enterprise technology, and the customers who depend on both to make decisions. 

Since joining CoStar Group's European leadership team in 2023, she has played a central role in the launches of LoopNet in the UK, France, and Spain, as well as the launch of CoStar in France. 

Before joining CoStar Group, Alexa served as CEO of tripAbrood, an award-winning, AI-powered online travel agency built for families — experience that gave her firsthand insight into building and scaling a disruptive online marketplace. 

Prior to that, she spent ten years at Bloomberg L.P. as a senior executive, leading regional sales and operations divisions across Europe and Asia of more than 300 people and generating over $200 million in ARR from enterprise financial software and SaaS products. That chapter taught her how to scale revenue, culture, accountability, and operational discipline across large, distributed, global teams. 

Alexa holds a Master's degree from Oxford in Modern Languages and is fluent in French and Spanish.
