BETHESDA, MD -- CoStar Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: CSGP), today announced that Catherine B. Reynolds has been elected by shareholders to serve on CoStar's Board of Directors.
Reynolds, 46, has been the Chairman, CEO and President of EduCap, Inc., a corporation that provides education financing, since 1989, where she developed a privately funded alternative to government student loan programs. Her creative approach to private educational financing revolutionized student lending and spawned a multi-billion dollar industry.
In addition, Reynolds has been the Chairman and CEO of The Catherine B. Reynolds Foundation, a Washington, DC-based philanthropic organization, since 2000. Prior to that, she was the founder and Chairman of Servus Financial Corporation.
In 2004, Mrs. Reynolds was selected by Business Week as one of the 50 most philanthropic living Americans and the first self-made woman ever to make their list.
